I could be wrong about this but the only way I can see that happening is if you cancel the reservations through Disney and rebook it... probably not the answer you were looking for though
The answer is YES. I did this myself, at the suggestion of the CM that helped me out (his name was Luke; he was the best!). The reason I switched it was that I was originally calling just to get a quote so I could see what I could afford. My travel agent is my MIL, so, obviously, I had to go through her!!! Luke explained that all I needed to do was fax a letter to WDTC stating that it was my authorization to transfer the ressie to my TA with the reservation number, agency/agent name, their IOTA number (very important) address, fax number, etc.
What Luke told me was that he would be able to reserve my space, and when I transferred the ressie, my agent would get the commission. MIL gets the credit with very little work!
If you would like to see what I sent, just pm me and I will be happy to e-mail you a copy (Word format).
Thanks for the responses, everyone. My reason for considering this is that the TA would handle my dining priority seatings for me, plus I'd like to see the TA get the commission. I'm glad this is an option!
I am a TA and I just did this last week, one of my regular
clients booked on Sunday, and turned it over to me on Monday.
I do all her PS and show bookings.
