Can I take these in my carry on?

My apologies if this has been asked before.....wasn't too sure where to post this but....

Can I bring a LARGE can of POWDERED Formula in my carry on? I am talking the 25.7 oz size! My 6 month old goes through several of these a week and I would hate to have to buy it down there. I am sure it is insanely expensive! I was hoping husband & I could each carry one on. Any information would be greatly appreicated.....

If it fits in your carryon...yes you can.

Powder isn't a problem, they only restrict liquid, gel and aerosol. The TSA website states Formula is the exception in "Reasonable" quanities.

I ran into a problem with a TSA agent with no children trying to tell me what was "reasonable" for our 4 month old on hypoallergenic formula

Anyways..Powdered is fine.

You could also ship it to the resort and have it waiting for you there. Diapers and wipes too!

The shipping idea is probably the best one to avoid problems and starting the trip badly. That is usually tough to recover from.
