hi i take my two youngest kids down our flume rides at the local pool are they allowed to in typhoon lagoon or blizzard beach, they are 3 and 5 and will be gutted if they can't,whats your experience :simba: :dogdance:

thanks for your reply i dont think i used the right question,i was wondering if 3 & 5 year olds can use any other slides apart from the kiddies areas,my two youngest are reall adventurous and regually use the big flumes sitting between my legs in front of me

a lot of the flumes/slides are tyre based/mat based so on those im guessing it would be no as they seem quite strict about one per tyre/mat....there are some of the wide ones though where there are about 4 or 5 side by side.....you could maybe go down those holding their hand on the neighbouring slide?

To be honest I am not so sure, some of the other slides etc are not really for young children, hence the unique areas I mentioned earlier strictly for kid's and parents.
The idea behind some of the kiddie attractions is that they are scaled down versions of the bigger rides, and many of the full size versions are too big I would have thought.

no you are unable to go down the slids with them:( they will be able to go on the small sides and small rings themselfs as jonny says

The lifeguards won't let them anyway if there are height restrictions on the ride :)

I have seen some young children use them; I would have thought the 5 year old would be OK, not so sure about the 3 year old. They don't all have height restrictions.

For extra peace of mind, you can rent (free) lifejackets. You have to leave a credit card as insurance / deposit, but I always did this until I was confident in my DDs swimming ability.

you can take them on the family raft ride (bit of a hint in the name)Regarding lifvests they have them at all the disney hotels just get one from the pool or front desk,You can also take them to the waterparks as well.As miffy says free of charge

My DD is 4, and very keen to do everything.

At Blizzard beach, we all went on the tabogan racers, DD had a life vest on, we all went down at the same time, the lifegaurd would keep a hold of her then let her go first, (so she could win).

This happened on all of the mat rides.

The tubes rides, she was allowed with me or DH, bit this will be harder if they is three of you.

There is also a area which is aimed at slightely older children, to go down the slides in this area i went down first and DD waited at the top and came down after me, and i was able to wait at the bottom to catch her.

I was also allowed near her when she was climbing over the ice berg things (sorry can not remember the names), basically you have to walk across the ice berg to the other side.

Hope this helps

Sorry can not speak about TL, not been there for a while we like BB too much

that sounds good thanks, its good if there are new challenges for them, mats and tobogans will keep them happy. 9 months to go :woohoo: :drinking1 :dancer: :thanks:
