Can I take advantage of two discounts?

Okay, so we are staying for seven nights. Right now, I have the gift card package reserved at POFQ for a seven night stay (but we only have to stay five nights to use the package).

Now that the room only discount has come out, I'm thinking of changing some things up.

I still want to keep the package for the first five nights, but would I be able to do a split stay at one of the deluxes for the last two nights using the room only discount; therefore, taking advantage of two discounts?

It would be its own reservation. Therefore, I see no reason why you cannot use a different discount.

Disney won't let you use two discounts on the same reservation.

That isn't what you are doing.

If it is available at that resort during that time frame, go for it.

Yes, as it would be two different reservations We are staying at POFQ for 9 nights in April I had originally booked it with my pin of 35% off. When the gift card offer came out, I called and modified my reservation so we are getting the $500 gift card for the first five nights and using the 35% off pin for the last four nights There is a slight chance we might have to change rooms but to save an extra $152, I can deal with that

the only issue you might have is if you are on the dining plan and thinking about stretching your dining credits to cover those last "room only" days... if that's not a concern, then there is no reason why you can't do it!!

disney makes it easy to change resorts w/luggage delivery too

The dining plan is the only issue (I think).

We are using 2 code on the same vacation. Gift card deal for 5 nights (added the 10 day passes on this package) then used the room only discount for the next 6 nights.

One heck of a deal!

We are only staying seven nights, but hey, I am saving a whopping $372.51 off my original package with no discounts!

We only need about 500 of that g.c. for food and stuff like that, so it would actually be great to be able to use the other 250 toward lodging that way.

I don't care about having to switch rooms or anything like that.

(In this case we would be staying at a deluxe).

Yes, I believe that you can use the GC to pay for a room only after you check out of the package part of your stay.

I say anything that you can do to save money is a great thing! And, you may even get lucky and they won't make you change rooms.
