Save is an overstatement. I made some lentils with bacon and veggies today. I basically followed this recipe.

My son LOVED them, but they're not as good as I hoped, the lentils are somewhat undercooked, but everything else (I used bacon, carrots, onion, and zucchini because I didn't have celery) is quite well done. If I heat it up for tomorrow, is there something I can do to cook them a little better? Could I put some water in and microwave them? Or something?
