Can I run the 5K at AK and still see kids races at ESPN?

We will have a car. Kids are registered to run the kids races but will I be able to see them? I know the races will start in waves and don't know when the last wave will start. What if I'm close to the last (I know strollers are very last) anyone have any advice, helpful hints. I can't be the only onein this situation

I will probably have to bus to AK and let the family sleep. Are there busses from the resort AS Movies to AK that early for the race? then could I even take one to ESPN to see the kids races and then DH could just go and not worry about timing.

The 5k races have one start. It takes a couple minutes to cross the start line if you are in the very back, but you don't have to wait 8 minutes between waves starts like the other races. If you are just doing the 5k and plan to drive you should have plenty of time.

I was wondering on this too. We are not at a host resort, we are at Bay Lake. We are planning taking a cab to the race. I was hoping they might have a bus from the 5K to ESPN, but I'm thinking not. We'll probably have to cab to ESPN as well, unless someone has a better idea. My friend ran this race last year (see link in my siggie), but they weren't doing the kids races.

If you don't plan to hang out after the 5k at the finish line, you should be able to catch a bus to one of the host resorts (I would choose the all-stars since they are closest to both locations) and get a bus to WWOS from there. You could take a cab as well, but you should be done with the 5k by 8, and 2 hours should be plenty of time to get to a resort and get on another bus to WWOS.
