Can I rent a car at All Star Music?

We are considering using our neighbor's time share for part of our stay in October, but would start our trip with 3 nights at ASMu. Can we use ME for the trip from the airport to ASMu, use Disney transportation while we are there, and then rent a car at ASMu for the remainder of our trip off-site? We have always only stayed on-site, and never had to think about a rental car before. Any help would be appreciated.

National/Alamo have locations at the Car Care Center and the Dolphin. The CCC has a shuttle that travels to the resort to pick up. You need to call them and book a reservation on the shuttle to have them pick you up. There are other car rental places located on Hotel Plaza Blvd., so you could ride to downtown disney, and then walk to the site, whoever might have the best price

When we rent "on property" we rent at the Dolphin... And figure the to take a bus over to MGM and the water shuttle or walk over to the Dolphin. We usually end up going for the am to MGM then picking up the car around noon or so...

CCC is the Car Care Center and is located around the Magic Kingdom area. Not sure when your travel is, but we are going in Sept. and have been checking rates.. CCC and Dolphin have been double than picking up at MCO.
I would love to use the magical express... I'm sure as we get closer the rates will come down..

I rented a car at the Dolphin for 1 day in March and it was $30. The dolphin hours are only until 4pm so make sure you are aware of that.

you can rent online (nationalcar.com) using the Dolphin location code orlr13. You can return the car then at Orlando Airport, where the location code is mcot01. I've gotten some pretty decent rates doing this (consult Mary's codes at Mousesavers.com - especially the American Express or Emerald Club codes). For an entire week in July my grand total for a mid-size SUV is under $200.00.
