Can I Really Keep My Mouth Shut For The Next 6 Months? Update 6/4 Link to TR

I thought I'd share my mini trip report from our last trip in 09, this was before I discovered the DISboards so I did this on another board which I rarely visit now thanks to these great boards, lol. Our trip was from August 13th- August 22nd. We stayed at Pop and had the regular dining plan during free dining:)

Here's a picture of us from trip.

3873800757_8e5c33a9fb.jpg

I should note that throughout this report you'll notice that there are very few pictures of my children all looking at me at the same time, I was frustrated at first because of course I wanted to get that perfect shot but by the second day I gave up and just took what I could get, lol.

On with the report, we had to decided to drive this year because we wanted to have our car with us while in WDW and our kids seemed to do really well driving back last year. Last year we took the autotrain down to Florida but our return train was cancelled due to flooding caused by Tropical Storm Fay so we had my mil and oldest ds fly home and dh and I drove home with the little ones. That worked well for us so we had my mil and ds fly again and dh and I drove. We left on Thursday August 13th around 9am, dh wanted to miss the rush hour traffic around DC and it worked well for us, we didn't encounter any traffic at all on our way down.

My dh likes to drive while I entertain the kids so he drove the whole time, we stopped a few times for lunch, dinner, gas and potty breaks and thought we might make it down to Orlando but dh was tired so we finally stopped for the night around 10pm about an hour and a half outside of Orlando. We got a room at The Quality Inn, $40 for the night, figured it couldn't be too bad as it was a Quality Inn. Wasn't horrible but definately could not do more than one night there. I was awoken by my cell phone ringing at 5am, it was my ds to tell me that their car wasn't at the house yet to pick them up to go to the airport. I had arranged for a towncar to take them to and from the airport with a friend who owns a limo business. My mil had called the guy and got no answer and I then called the guys home phone and got no answer as well. So panic is setting in at my house because my mil hates to fly and she's stressing that they will miss their flight which was at 6:50am. Finally the guy gets there around 20 after 5am (a very long 20 minutes late), luckily we live only 15 minutes from BWI airport so they got there in plenty of time. At this point my 3 younger ones had woken up from dh and I talking and since we were all so excited to get to WDW we all got dressed were on our way by 6am.

We got in to Orlando about 7:30, stopped at Perkins and had a good breakfast. Then although it was only around 8:30 we decided to head over Pop Century. I checked us in, they told us they would text us when our room was ready, so we decided to tour the grounds a little and take a swim in the Hippy Dippy pool.

My ds called us around 9:15 to let us know that their plane had landed, we told them that we were at the pool and to call us when they got on the ME. They got to Pop about 10:00 (they had a hard time finding the ME at the airport), after my mil checked in we went to the food court because my ds and mil hadn't had time to eat at the airport, so they ate while we got the kids a snack and got our mugs. By the time we were done we got a text letting us know our room was ready so we all headed over there. We had requested adjoining, ground floor rooms, in a preferred location close to food court and parking lots (my ds Ben is physically delayed so he just started walking on his own this past year and cannot walk too far without needing help). We got a great location but our rooms were not connecting ( I never knew there was a difference between adjoinging and connecting), but we were happy with what we got because we were close to everything, we were in the 70's right across from the playground, very close to the 90's parking lot, foodcourt and Hippy Dippy pool. I was a little worried about hearing alot of noise from people passing our room being on the ground floor but it was actually pretty quiet.

My mil and ds got into their swimsuits and we went back to the pool for a while, then we went back to our rooms, showered changed and relaxed a little, then it was off to DTD!

So FUN!!! I really think that I will have to do the theme nights too. My kids would LOVE it and it would be a great way to pass our time too. We're actually going to be at Pop the same time as you and your family and we are so excited!

Actually, my kids know that we want to go to WDW but they do not know that we booked the trip. So, I, like you, am debating on a surprise or a short countdown. Either way, the end result is WDW so it doesn't really matter. :thumbsup2

The theme nights are so much fun, you should definately do some! I'm still trying to figure out whether we should surprise them or not, I'm back to leaning now towards telling them the month before we go, that way that get to look forward to it and get excited. Let me know what you decide to do!

We got to DTD maybe around 3pm and we headed over to our favorite sandwich shop, Earl of Sandwich. Another a wonderful meal (my oldest said he could there every day and never get sick of it), we did some shopping, Sam made a lightsaber, Ben got some cars and Emily got a Tinkerbell doll. I got to do some birthday shopping for Ben and Emily, I must say one thing I absolutely love about staying on property is getting our packages sent to the hotel, how great it was to not have to carry all of our stuff, and with the amount of things I bought it would have been alot of stuff to carry, lol. We went to the Christmas shop and got our 2009 ornament. We got some Italian ices and sat and people watched for a while then we headed back to the hotel about 7pm. We walked around the resort some more and then I took the 3 little ones back to the hotel to get ready for bed and Christian and dh went to the pool for a bit. Kids all crashed by 9pm and dh and I were down as well by about 10pm, it had been a LONG day :)

Day 3 started with Dh and Christian getting up early to go over to Blizzard Beach. I got to sleep in a little bit with the little ones and then we got up, dressed and headed over to the Poly for the kids surprise, breakfast at Ohana's! First time there and we absolutely loved it, the restaurant was not real busy so the kids were not rushed with the characters and the food was great.

This was taken after the kids had already dug in, so much food! I had read how good the eggs were but had thought to myself how good could they be, well let me tell you they were the best scrambled eggs I have ever had, would love to know what they do to them.

After breakfast, we toured the grounds, watched some Hawaiian dancers and just fell in love with the Poly, definately on our list for possible future resorts.

After touring the Poly we headed back to Pop Century to swim at the pool, Chris and Christian came back from Blizzard Beach around 3pm and they hung with us at the pool for a while. We went back to our rooms and got ready to head over to the Boardwalk. Once we got there we took the boat over to the Yacht and Beach Club right away, we were on a mission. We went over to Beaches and Cream where there was a 45 minutes wait for a party of 7, no problem, we just took the kids next door to the arcade. About an hour later our table was ready, I didn't realize just how small this restaurant was so we were all kinda sqeezed together but it was ok, we like each other for the most part, lol. Christian and I had burgers, Chris had a chili dog, and the kids had nuggets, I think, not sure what mil had, I did not get many food pics this trip, everyone dug in too fast for me. After we finished up we began our mission, The Kitchen Sink.

Of course we didn't finish it, but we had fun trying :)

We then headed back over to The Boardwalk where we had planned on spending the evening doing a little shopping and watching the performers. After taking the boat back over we watched a guy doing some tricks with an assortment of hats, the kids loved him. After the show he was teaching the kids some of the tricks. Then all heck broke loose, Ben (who doesn't walk that great and falls often) and Emily were playing around and collided really hard, Ben fell and broke open a previous scrape on his leg, which started bleeding and when him and Emily hit each other he hurt his mouth, which was also bleeding. I instinctively as a mother, hugged and held him to my chest, when I pulled him away I looked down and my shirt was covered in blood. Ok time to go, Chris offered to go buy me a shirt but Ben was still shaken up (although he was fine) and I really just wanted to get back to the room and rest up for the next day. I felt bad that we didn't get to do more at the Boardwalk but there's always next year:)

Picture of Boardwalk from the boat dock at the Yacht and Beach Club, and can you believe that we didn't get rained on? Don't know how that happened by the look of that sky.

We went back to the resort and after a little tv watching the kids were asleep by 9:30. Again Chris took Christian to the pool while I stayed in the room with the kids.

Day 4

We woke up around 6:30, Epcot had EMH at 8am so we had to get an early start. We had just gotten to the park, getting the kids out of the car and my right ankle gave out on me and I twisted it. I have had problems with this ankle for years and I twist it probably once a year so I knew I was in trouble but what was I going do so I started taking Motrin for pain, got an ace bandage at first aide and we went on. We arrived at the gates at 7:45. Once we were let in, we headed over to guest relations to get a GAC for Ben and to get a tag so we could use our stroller as a wheelchair. We then headed straihgt for Test Track, one of Christian and Chris's favorites. My mil stayed with Emily and Chris and I took the boys. There was no wait, they were not even making us watch the intro video. But as Ben and I started to get on he cried, so we didn't even sit down, we kinda stepped over the seat to the exit. After the boys ride was over I rode with my mil, Christian and Sam. Something must have been wrong with the ride (although the cm's never said so) because we walked right on to the holding pen (right before you watch the intro video) and then we waited about 30 LONG minutes and we didn't hear the ride going. After that, which pretty much was our whole extra hour, we went over to Mission Space, Chris, mil, Christian and Sam rode the mild one, got a baby swap so I then rode with Christian and Sam but we did the orange this time. Big mistake , I forgot how quesy I had gotten on the ride last year, next year I won't forget.

3875155896_efba36450c.jpg

Everyone was hungry (but me the quesy one, lol) so we went over the The Land to eat and ride Soarin. Had lunch at Sunshine Season's, I had the cuban vegetable sandwich, Chris had a ham and cheese sandwich, Christian had the chicken dinner thing and the kids had pb+j's meals, can't recall what mil had. After lunch mil stayed with Emily again while we rode Soarin with the boys, we got a baby swap pass so she could ride again with the boys when we were done. We then headed over to The Seas and watched Turtle Talk.

We then headed over to Innoventions, Chris and my mil took the little guys to do the piggy bank thing, Christian played some games and Emily had to go potty so I took her out. On our way back look who we ran into with a very little wait.

3875157906_2b4bc35922.jpg

We then headed over to SSE, my mil's all time favorite ride.

Here we are waiting to ride

We then were heading to over to see HISTA amd ride Journey into Imagination with Figment. On our way we stopped into Club Cool where I tricked Sam and my mil into the Beverly, it's their fault for not remembering how bad it was the year before, lol. I made up for it by buying the kids each a Coke slushee where they made their own cups.
3874371315_f95dc6a8d0.jpg

So orginally after finishing up FutureWorld I had planned on us going back to the hotel for a rest but dh and I had decided back at Soarin that since we were all in good spirits and doing pretty well that we would stay for the day. We then headed over to Mexico.

Day 4 continued

After Mexico we moved on to Norway where we had 5:30 dinner reservations for Akershus. It was only 5pm when we arrived but dh decided to check in and see if we could get in earlier. We only waited 5 minutes or so and our name was called so we got lucky. We went in and had the kids had their picture taken with Belle, I was a little bummed because I had bought a new Belle dress and crown from the Disney Store before we left home just for this dinner but since we never went back to the hotel for a break Emily didn't get to wear it

Belle was showing Emily how to pose

3875529280_3acc955765.jpg

We got seated, had a great server and good food. The pork shank which we all loved last year was not on the menu anymore but we all got great meals. Chris and Christian got pork chops, I got a chicken breast with risotto, kids got hot dogs and my mil got some kind of fish. I just looked over on the menu listed for Akershus both on here and on AllEars and the menu has changed, just a heads up for anyone that may be eating there anytime soon. And the desserts were wonderful, a chocolate cake, rice pudding with strawberries and the best one of all, the schoolbread.

I looked for trolls in the windows everywhere in Norway but did not see one, anyone know where exactly they are?

We moved on to China, didn't spend too much time there because we were going to have a whole day just in WS later in the week but we did meet a nice friend who gave Emily (who totally took to this guy) an origami flower.

After China we moved onto Germany for a bit then I decided to stake out a spot for Illuminations, my foot was hurting and my ankle looked like I had a baseball attached to it. I sat with Emily and Christian while mil shopped a bit and Chris and the boys got snacks. Another family with young kids was staking out a spot right behind us so we chatted with them for about an hour, it was nice to just sit and relax. Illuminations was great as usual but Sam didn't cry this year, last year he was in tears and we thought he was upset but he just said that it was so beautiful and he was so happy he was crying, lol.

Day 5 Magic Kingdom

We got up about 7:00, it was AM EMH and we had wanted to get to MK for rope drop but we were about 5 minutes late. It's funny how I can be in the Disney area for days and not really feel like I am at WDW until I step into the Magic Kingdom and I see that castle. Our first stop was in Town's Square where we saw Pinnochio, I am one of those crazy character hunter's but I won't wait for a crazy amount of time, most lines we found we not so bad.

3878309580_4c2419c5ae.jpg

We then made our way down Main Street, took pics in front of the castle

3877515973_28ed5f868b.jpg

3877516537_45505687cd.jpg

And in back of the castle we found Emily's Baboo aka Fairy Godmother (she starting calling her Baboo last year, short for Bippity Boppity Boo)
3878310262_2f29d30d48.jpg

We went into Tinkerbell's Treasures, where Emily got to ring for Tink and she got a certificate. The cm at the store was so nice, she told Emily that she looked like Cinderella which Emily just ate up because she thinks she is Cinderella, lol.

Headed to a must for anyone with little guys, Dumbo
3877516975_30ac674b7e.jpg

We then went to Ariel's Grotto
3877517201_2fb9108d28.jpg

Next we headed over to Ben's favorite ride Many Adventure's of Winnie the Pooh and onto the teacups
3878311358_7e9a3a9e32.jpg

While we were on the ride Chris saw Alice so he got in line for us. Sam has a thing for Alice (not sure how this came about) but he told us all day after seeing her that Alice was going to be his girlfriend, lol.
3878311590_4552e54aba.jpg

Next it was off to Toontown. I was hoping to see Tinkerbell but was not prepared to wait 1 1/2 like I've read some people have. When we got there I asked the cm how long the wait was, the wait time said 45 minutes but she said it was more like 30, so I figured ok, we'll wait for this one just because it is Tink and all of the kids like her. As we were getting in line the cm noticed Ben's GAC pass which I had in the pouch on my lanyard along with our park passes. The GAC usually doesn't get used on character lines so I don't ever try it but the cm had us get out of line and go to the exit where another cm met up with us and first took us right in to see the princesses, then we went to a hallway and waited about 10 minutes to see Tink, Fawn and Rosetta.

Now, I already told you that Emily thinks she is Cinderella, well it was so funny because when Cinderella asked Emily her name, Emily told her it was Cinderella. Cinderella said "oh my I've never met another girl named Cinderella", it was so cute!

And we all just loved the fairies, they we very into character, especially Tink, she kept teasing the boys.

3877554627_cb7015aeda.jpg

We were all hungry at this point so we headed over to Cosmic Rays, I got a burger, Chris and Christian had the rib and chicken meals, kids had chicken nuggets as usual. Chris told the cm's that it was my mil's birthday so they all came over and sang. While there we decided again to skip going back to the hotel for a break and instead just take our time at the park.

Next we headed over to Tomorrowland, rode Buzz Lightyear's Spaceranger Spin.

3877604421_2887215564.jpg

The kids were hungry (again) and we were all melting so we decided to go over to Casey's Corner for some fries and some air conditioning. The boys loved sitting on the bleachers and watching the cartoons and Emily got to continue her nap in a quiet corner with my mil.

So on with the second half of day 1 at MK

After our rest stop at Casey's Corner we went over to the castle to watch the Dream Along with Mickey show. Got great seats real close, actually had to wake Emily to see the show because I knew she would love it because of the princesses.

3877651001_8745b2af43.jpg

The parade was at 3pm, so we just went straight over to snag a good seat which was right by the entrance to Aventureland. Here's Emily trying to hula hoop before the parade.
3878445188_ce60afccd9.jpg

3877651393_a4ecf0ea8e.jpg

I didn't get wonderful shots of the parade because I was sitting down with Emily in my lap but I did take a ton. After the parade we were all melting again because of the heat so we decided after a little shopping in the stores on Main Street to head over to the Contemporary since we had dinner reservations at Chef Mickey's later. We were WAY early so the boys went in the arcade and played while my mil and I and Emily shopped. My mil got Emily an Ariel purse which she carried around everywhere for the rest of our trip and I got a few things. When we were done us girls went over to the food court area near Chef Mickey's to wait for the boys. At 5pm people were in line to check in to Chef Mickey's (by this point the guys had come over) so Chris went toi check in even thought our ressies weren't until 5:30. We waited maybe 5 minutes and were buzzed over, got our picture taken and were seated. Dinner was good as usual, the charcters were great although I think Minnie was a little rushed but that's ok because Mickey came by twice.

After dinner we made our way back to MK, people were already starting to stake out spots for Spectro so Chris volunteered to sit for us, got a great spot at the end of Main Street in front of the castle, so the parade was coming right at us. While Chris waited my mil and I ran the kids over to ride Buzz one more time and then we headed back to wait for the parade. Spectro was great, I had never seen it before, last year they were doing construction on some bridge when we were there so they were not doing it that week. After Spectro we turned around and waited for Wishes, another great spot, although SO crowded. We headed out after Wishes and got back to the resort around 11:15. We walked in our room to find out that Mousekeeping had not come in that day. Here's the problem with that, I had called that morning to alert them that Emily had had a small acident on the bed in the middle of the night. They told me to take all of the bedding off of the bed and leave it by the door, which I did. I also left a very handsome tip to make up for the extra work. Well they never even made it into my room. When we got back I called down to Mousekeeping to let them know that I had no bedding for the bed and to tell them our room wasn't cleaned and I got the most obnoxious woman. She couldn't believe that I actually wanted someone to come to my room at that hour. Well yes of course, I had no bedding. She was actually so rude that I went down to the front desk and complained about her sttitude, not sure if it mattered but I was just so pissed about how she spoke to me. And this was not the first problem we had with Mousekeeping, on our second day they had not cleaned my mil's room and just left a bag with new towels for them, overall I thought they did a pretty crappy job, they were not the best at vacuuming, I think there were popcorn kernels on the floor all week long and Chris noticed mold in the shower while I noticed it in the toilet. So off to bed maybe around midnight, had to be up early again for rope drop at DHS.

I told the kids tonight that we were having a Christmas party on Saturday with some friends, my DS Sam's response was "what Disney movie are we watching?" LOL. Of course he thinks every party we have now is a Disney theme night, lol, at least I know they are enjoying them!

So I'm not sure if anyone is still on board here, I hope somebody's enjoying my PTR. If there are any lurkers out there come out and say hi :)

On with my mini TR

Day 6 Disney's Hollywood Studios's

We were up at 7:00, had breakfast in the room and were at the park by 8:30. At rope drop we headed right over towards Tower of Terror, Chris went ahead and got us Rockin Rollercoaster FP's. Walked onto TOT with Chris, Sam and Christian then handed Sam over to mil who was with Ben and Emily so we could ride RR. We then headed over to VOTLM and then went into the Annimation Studios where we saw Sorcerer Mickey, the rest of the characters were not over there yet.

We came out and got in a short line to see Quincy from Little Einsteins, we didn't wait for anyone else because we saw everyone last year and we were all excited to go over to TSM. Which is where we went to next. This is one of my top favorite rides and all of the kids love it.

The line for Buzz and Woody was an hour and as I said before even though I am a character hunter I will not wait in crazy lines, so we headed over to Pizza Planet for lunch. We all ate pizza, which was yummy. Next it was off to Muppets, the boys didn't get to see it last year and they absolutely loved it! It had started to rain when we got out but we headed out anyway (everyone else was just standing there in the exit). Lightening McQueen and Mater had no wait at all, I guess noone wanted to get wet so we went over there. Ben is a huge Cars fan, I think we must have about 50 cars now in his collection so seeing these guys was a must.

It was still rainging so the Power Rangers were going a meet and Greet in some audiotorium, we went in and there was no wait at all for them either, Sam was so excited he got to see all 5 Power Rangers and they all showed off their moves to him, lol

Still raining but didn't bother my kids any, we went over to see Mike from Monster's Inc, we were bummed that Sulley wasn't with him though, Emily loved him last year.

Day 6 DHS continued....

By the time we had finished with the Power Rangers the rain had stopped so we headed over to Lights Motors Action because they were starting to let people in, or so we thought. I guess they were drying off the stage so it would be safe for the cars and then they were practicing so we ended up waiting in line for a long time and it was soooo hot, you know how it's gets crazy hot and humid after it rains in Florida? That's how it was. Maybe it was just worse for me because I really didn't care to see this show but the boys wanted to so we waited, well past the time the show was to begin to start. Finally got let in and sat down, show started and was over in about 10 minutes because it started to rain again. UGGHHH!!!!! So we left, toured Streets of America, then Chris, Christian, Ben and Sam rode Star Tours while my mil, Emily and myself waited in the shop. The Jedi Acedemy began while the boys were inside but was still going on when they came out so we wacthed the rest of that, Sam was bummed that he wasn't there in the beginning to get chosen up but there's always next time. We stopped into the Backlot Express to snack on some fries and to enjoy some air conditioning (it was really hot outside) and then headed over to the Great Movie Ride. Emily fell asleep while we were in line so Chris exited out midway through and the rest of us rode.

We went to 50's Primetime for dinner, good food, bad service. I won't go into details but I will say that we will probably not eat there again, I hate how it's a hit or miss with your server.

Because we were at dinner for so long (extremely slow service) we ended up not being able to see the last showing of Beauty and the Beast, which myself and Emily were totally bummed about. To cheer ouselves up we went back over to TSM and rode it again, then walked through Walt Disney's One Man Dream and back into the Animation Studios to see if any characters were left.

The Up characters were already gone but we got to see Frozone

We then went back over to TOT and Ben rode it this time with us and then Christian and Chris went over to Rockin Rollercoaster again with fastpasses they had picked up earlier.

While the guys were riding, my mil and I headed over to Fantasmic, they were letting people in at that point around 7:30 for the 9pm show. We got seats in the handicapped seating which worked out great, I thought the waiting for the show would be a nightmare with my kids but it went fast and was really no problem at all. Fantasmic was great as usual, left right after the show and were home by 10:30, once again all 3 little ones were crashed and had to be carried back to the room.

2009 Mini TR Day 7 Animal Kingdom

Up bright and early to get to AK for EMH. Got there around 7:45, once they let us in we headed straight to the Safari then did the Pangani Trail.

I don't know why I always have so many pics of the giraffes, when we stayed at AKL I must had taken at least 3 dozen pics of them.

We came upon Brer Rabbit, Meeko and Governor Radcliff with very little lines.

We headed over to the FP center to get FP's for Everest and while we were there we watched It's Tough to be a Bug. I have never really taken many pictures of the carvings before so this time I took a bunch. I love this owl

After the show we headed over to The Festival of the Lion King. We saw Pocohantas with a very short line but didn't have time to stop and unfortunately she was gone when we came back. Met up with Koda and Kenai after the show though.

Everyone was hungry so we quickly made our way to Yak and Yeti CS, we passed up a bunch of characters on the way but our hunger won over autographs, lol. Yak and Yeti was great, Chris said it was one of his favorite meals overall. After lunch we went over to Kali River Rapids and much to our delight we found that Emily was tall enough to ride, she was so excited! My mil backed out at the last minute when she saw how wet people were when they were getting off, Ben decided to go with her while Chris, Christian, Sam, Emily and I rode. And of course I got the most wet but the kids got pretty soaked too.
3899796817_29e892598d.jpg

We then walked our soaked butts over to EE, Chris, Christian, Sam and I rode while my mil stayed with Ben and Emily. When we were done Chris and Christian decided to ride again (they had gotten a second set of FP's after FOTLK). We knew we were going to be leaving early so the guys gave away the remaining FP's to a lucky family.

We headed over to Dinosaur, Ben hated this ride last year so I opted to stay with him and Emily while the rest rode using FP's they had gotten earlier (I love that FP center). I got the kids Mickey bars and we sat in a nice shaded area outside of the Dinosaur exit.

Another pic of Ben and his messy dessert, lol

It was really hot again today and we were all wiped out from a late night and an early morning so we decided to head back to the resort for some swimming and rest.

After resting up for a few hours, Emily got her Cinderella dress on and we made our way over to the Grand Floridian for dinner at 1900 Park Fare. We checked in abour 15 minutes early and went to sit and wait, and wait and wait and wait some more. We finally got called an hour and a half later, as you can imagine we were just a little annoyed, especially when the hostess was bringing us to our table she stopped (in front of an empty 8 top) and asked us if we minded going back to the host stand so she could check something. Now Chris and I have both worked in the restaurant business (he is currently a General Manager of a very big restaurant) so we are a litlle more tolerant of alot of things in restaurants than most people but we had had it. Chris said no we will not go with you, we will be sitting right here (at the table for 8), she called a manager over and the manager told her to sit us there. I don't know what was up with the restaurant that night but I can tell you there were ALOT of unhappy guests there. So many people were complaing while we were waiting for our table, the lobby of the GF was packed with angry waiting guests. Anyway enough with the bad stuff, our sever came over and got our drink order, he was great, Chris jokingly told him to tell his manager that he thought she should pay for our drinks because of the crap we had gone through before and surprisingly she did. Characters came out and they were so wonderful, the sisters were hilarious, Lady Tremaine was totally in character, she asked Emily what chores she was good at, lol. And Prince Charming stole Emily's heart, she said she was going to marry him after she danced with him. Cinderella was great too, remember Emily thinks she is Cinderella so we can never get enough of her.

We did not get out of there until around 10pm, and had to be up for EMH at MK the next day, luckily the kids fell asleep in the car again and went right to bed.

Day 8 Magic Kingdom

We got to MK just at 8am for EMH, stopped to visit with Mary Poppins who Sam has a thing for. Her and Alice, what's with the English ladies?, We rode Cinderella's Carousel, watched Philharmagic, rode Snow White, Winnie the Pooh (where I finally remembered to look for the picture of Mr Toad giving Owl the deed), Peter Pan, IASW and Haunted Mansion, which was cool because they had us go through a separate entrance for handicapped and we had to wait in a hallway I'd never been in before. The kids were a little scared of the huge cm that took us to the ride, it was hilarious!

It was still pretty early, around 10:15 but we were already hungry because we had only eaten something small in the room so we went over to the Columbia House got a table and waited for them to begin serving at 10:30. We all loved the food here, mil got the tuna sandwich, which was awesome, big guys had the fish and chicken basket, I had just the chicken nuggets as did the little guys. After filling our bellies we stopped to see The Country Bear Jamboree, road Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain (where once again I got the wettest) and then took the train over to Toontown.

The cm in front of Columbia House let the kids take turns ringing the bell

We went through Mickey and Minnie's houses, rode Goofy's Barnstormer and the kids played in Donald's boat for a bit and then we headed back to Frontierland via the train again. We found Peter Pan and Wendy right outside of POTC and also saw Captain Hook and Smee. Walked over to the pirate tutorial which had already started but we were able to get real close and Sam and Emily (Ben was to shy to go up) got to go up at the end and got honorary pirate certificates from Captain Jack.

We next rode POTC, Jungle Cruise and then took a break with some yummy Dole Whip floats while the kids played with their new weapons, lol
3900738706_7c467469fe.jpg

After our break we rode The magic Carpets then crosssed the park over to Tomorrowland where we rode Buzz Lightyear again and watch MLF again. We had dinner reservations at Crystal Palace so we headed back towards Main St. We happen to come upon the dance party and the kids got to dance with Donald which made their day.
