Hi All!

I posted this on the photography board as well but since I want to scrapbook these pictures.......all of you might be able to give me advice.

I am a beginner at cameras & pictures and have some digital photos that have been emailed to me. Can I print those out on photo paper? Any recommendations on photo paper? Any special way to do this?

I don't care if the pictures are small -- I just want to print them out for my photo album.

Also, is there a way to print more than one on a piece of paper?

Thanks for any directions you can provide.

More than likely if you try printing a photo that was e-mailed to you, not only will it be small but the resolution will be terrible. Depends on the size of file but typical e-mail pics will have a small size and small resolution. To give you an idea of the photos that I print at home, the typical size of one photo is 2MB, which is the max size of attachments most e-mail accounts permit you to send.

Before using photo paper, try printing just on regular paper, it will give you a general idea of what it will look like, although it will look better on photo paper. If it looks bad, don't bother using photo paper.

Depending on what program you use to print it, most printing options will allow you to size the photo you are printing so you can size it to 2x3, print it on a 4x6 photo paper then wait for it to dry, turn it around the other way and print another 2x3 photo on that same 4x6 paper.

I use photoshop to print my photos and most of the time I create a photo package of different sized photos and then print that on a 8.5 x 11 sheet of photo paper then crop my photos.

Hope that helps!

I do it all the time. dl the picture and save it, then I open my photo editing program, tinker with the photo and then print it. Sometimes I burn it to a CD and take it to Walgreens - especially if I have alot of them.

I prefer to use Kodak or HP paper in my HP printer. The cheapy ones dont look as good.

Oh and the setting you print on are important.
