Can I move a room-only reservation to a future date without penalty if I'm currently less than 5 days before arrival timeframe?

Hi. I need to cancel my room-only reservation that is less than four days away. Can I instead move it to March, 2022 without having to make another deposit?
I'm wondering if my deposit will roll over to that new reservation, or will they take that deposit from me since it's less than five days till we are supposed to check in and then we'll have to start over for the March reservation?

Been a while, but they’ve done it for me before. Can’t remember if it was a room-only or package, but they modified using the deposit.

Yes, you can modify your dates without penalty. The penalty only kicks in if you, outright, cancel your reservation at this point.
