can i maximize savings by combining disney gcs and using my disney visa?

I was hoping some veterans could help me plan my strategy to maximize the use of gift cards and my disney visa, if possible. I have a nice rewards card available but I was also going to pick up the discounted disney GCs at target with my red card to pay for the rest of our room and to use for spending money and meals. we have a room only rezzie so i will pay the balance when i arrive. we are also APs with TIW, so i will have that discount too for meals. Is there a way to use my disney visa in combination to maximize my savings and get points? I figure I can link it to my room key, but if i pay the room balance before i leave (with the gcs), i don't think it's actually charged to my card, right?

If i can't use both, the GCs are a better deal at 5% savings than a 2% reward bonus. so i will try to prepay for as much as i can on gcs.

We use the Target pharmacy reward five percent to buy Disney gift cards and charge it to MC or Visa. I'm sure the Disney Visa would work, as a form of payment. I was going to use it the other day, but opted for another credit card. I know you can combine the pharmacy reward and red card, roughly getting ten percent off. We will pay for our food and room with the gift cards.
