Can I make ADR's at two different restaurants at the same time?

My 180 day mark is next week and will be making all our ADR's for our trip. We are a traveling party of 6 people. On one evening while DH and I take our two kids to dinner at Crystal Palace my parents want a nicer dinner and plan to eat dinner at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. If I try to make both reservations online under my Disney Resort 180+ 10 Days Reservation, will it allow me to do that or will it think I'm trying to cheat the system by booking two ADR's at the same time? I'm not trying to hold an extra ADR, we will actually be using both ADR's.

Help! TIA! :goodvibes

I wouldn't see there being a problem with this. As long as you show up to both I would think that this is perfectly fine. If the online system won't let you do it you can always call and talk to Disney Dining and explain the situation to them.

If you do it online and make 2 ADR's for the same time period, it will tell you that you have a conflict and ask to cancel the first ADR you made. I don't know if a CM will be able to get around that if you call.

That's what I'm afraid of. Would it make a difference if I made one at 6pm and one at 6:30pm? Or do I need to create a separate Disney account for my mom and have her make just the one reservation at Yachtsman and it would then be separate from the rest of our ADR's and Resort Reservation? I also couldn't take advantage of the 180 +10 days for this ADR, but I don't think dinner's at Yachtsman Steakhouse book up that quickly. :confused3

I'm guessing you're going to want to call in for this one. If you have all 6 guests on your room reservation and you are making a CP ressie for 4 and a Yachtsman for 2, maybe there is a way they can do it? I don't see being able to do it online.

We actually do have two separate room reservations (DVC)... one room for us 4 and one room for my parents. My parents room is under their name, but when I log into disneyworld.com under my account I had already pulled up both our room reservations since my parents have nothing to do with the trip planning.

I did this for my trip in October. I have two reservations on the same day, both at the exact same time, one for Teppan Edo for myself, DH, and DS14; and a second one at Le Cellier for older DS and his girlfriend. I called Disney Dining to do it and they were able to make them with no problems or issues, except that they had to be put them in two different last names. We are all on the same DVC reservation, and they both appear on my account at disneyworld.com.
