I have a reservation for preferred site with cable for Nov 21-25. Wanting to add additional days starting the Nov 15, I was finally able to add those days although not with cable., Nov 15-21. Now I have two reservations.

Anybody guess on what my chances are to get the Nov 15-21 site upgraded to include cable? If the site with cable becomes available, can I ask that the two reservations be linked so that I can keep the same site the whole time? If they can link the two reservations to show us from Nov-15 thru 25, will my rate change? Does anybody have any experience with this kind of change?

Knowing how lucky I am just to get these reservations, I don't want to jeopardize them by making changes that could cancel any of it.

Thanks for your help.

call 407 w disney and see what they say.

Yes, lots of people link reservations back to back, it's how some people are able to stay for longer times during the holidays.

We have linked reservations before but always the same level of site, for example all preferred or all full hook-up. I would continue to try to reserve the preferred site for the extra days and then call and link your reservation. Last year my friend tried to do this for the Christmas holiday and the CM she reached would not link her reservations and would not guarantee that they wouldn't have to shift sites during their stay. Needless to say she cancelled their reservations. I would have taken the chance but I would walk over hot coals to stay at FW.

Disney will never say they will guarantee you won't have to move, but 99.99% of the time you won't have to.

As a matter of fact, I've had very few Ft. Wilderness reservations that weren't split for one reason or another.

I have ALWAYS been able to stay in the same site.

A couple of years ago, a friend of mine had a two-week stay planned at Ft. Wilderness, could not get the middle weekend reserved to save his life, so he came anyway without reservations for the middle weekend. Sure enough, something opened up and he was able to stay the middle weekend, and for the entire two week period, never had to move (Ended up being 4 different reservations).

I have been in this situation at WDW and I had to move to the other site one time which was peak season and the other time they let me stay and that was summer non peak.
You have a 50/50 chance
