Realized I owe a big thank you to this community and have to state it for new comers.
This is my 2nd Disney trip I have planned with the help of Disboards. Our first in 2014 I used it mainly to see what my resort would look like and a few random questions.
This time around I think the community has actually helped me book this trip and create my magic.
When I missed out on the first batch of Free Dining for my dates I thought the vacation would not be happening. It was following a disboards thread that updated me a week later to new rooms and I was able to get what I wanted in my price range.
I've been able to book ADRs at some restaurants that have me super excited thanks to reviews and feedback on here.
My resort is so hyped up on its thread and I feel I know the tricks to get the best of it, thanks to Dis!
I'm also now well aware of closed rides or items that my family would have been looking forward to, so I won't have any disappointed kids for that aspect. We can prepare ahead.
And of course recently it was a post update that allowed me to get a lunch reservation with the new Jungle Book package without rearranging my entire ADR/ park planning.
This forum has everything a Disney lover can want. Thank you to everyone in this community
