congrats on the new purchase...i have a friend who just got one of these and hoping someone will tell me this...she had a slr but never learned to use any of the creative modes so i was trying to show her what they were and couldn't find any way to adjust the shutter or aperture...since it has a av and tv it has to be possible but any hints? ( i have a thumb dial on my rebel xt to do that but didn't see anything like that on hers)

I've had mine for about 2 1/2 weeks now and have taken over 1000 pics so far - LOL!

Maybe I'm just camera challenged, but does anyone else think that the TV should be labeled something closer to what it does? I can never remember what TV and AV are for and at first I thought TV was for taking video (and I'm not totally new to digital cameras, just Canon - LOL).
