Can I go on Waitlist if I already have a reservation?

If I call to make a reservation at Boardwalk, and nothing is available, so then I make the reservation at my home resort of Saratoga Springs, can I go on the wait list for boardwalk? Or cant I do both at the same time? (reservation & wait list). THANKS!

You sure can. If you have enough points, you can keep the SSR reservation until the BWV res is filled. Otherwise, MS will have to cancel each day of the SSR reservation to make the BWV res and you will have a split reservation until the BWV res is completely filled.

We did that last year. Jan 2004 I called to book BCV for 3 nights during Easter week in April '04, but nothing was available. So I booked BWV and was put on the wait list for a 1 BR at BCV. A few weeks later, we got the call that the wait list came through - and MS just canceled the BWV and put us in the BCV.
