Can I give the pass's away??

Ok, PLEASE do not flame me, I honestly do not know if this is a HUGE no-no or not.
I got an email last week for a 2 night stay at any value resort, with free dinning , and a 3 day pass to disney all for JUST $196.00 per night per adult.

I went ahead and booked a trip and the total for our two night stay with the DDP and pass's came to $650.00. I didnt think this was bad at all.
HOWEVER, we have season pass's and do not need to use the pass's . I would LOVE to be able to take my mother with us......... Can anyone use the pass's we get with the "deal" as long as THEY are the only one to ever use the pass??

I am not trying to start trouble, I realy have no idea if this is ok.

I am SURE, its a legit question. I am not lending out my pass, or trying to use the same pass on more then one person.

Is this a special from Disney?

If it is booked through a package with Disney, I do not think you get individual tickets, rather they are tied to your room key--so if they are, it would be a no. Room keys are printed with invid names.

If they are separate tickets issued with a name--you aren't supposed to.

If they are passes to exchange for tickets--then you are free to do with them what you wish.

Tickets do have to be used by whomever activited them.

Just dawned on me that this sounds like the Florida resident special hubby was telling me about. I don't know how they issue the tickets.

Yes it sure is that very special and i bet they do use the room key as you said. II have never stayed on property so I didnt relize they did that. Thanks for the info !!

I am pretty sure that you can have them take the passes off the room key and give you hard tickets. I plan on doing that with our 1 day passes, and have them put our left over days from last years room key onto this years room key. This way I will put away the 1 day passes for "whenever".

Just be careful--often Florida residents specials have expirations--i.e. a special 3-day Fla resident ticket..will NOT be good forever.

So if they can do that so that your reletive can go with you--be aware of the expiration date on the passes.

This is correct and just let them know at the resort that you have an AP and they should seperate the tickets and room key.

Oh thats even better becaus that means we can use the others we would be getting (2 more adults and 1 child) for a trip after our ap's expire ... right??

As long as they don't expire ( CM will tell you some do most don't until used) you could also use them towards your Ap renewal if your planning on doing that.

Just ask they will let you know with no problem.
