I have a 19 month old son who still likes his milk at morning and night and was wondering is there any where in the resort I could purchase it or I was thinking about taking some from home and storing in the mini fridge in the room (if they have one - Hotel New York?) and I also want some bottled water for his juice and I have read somewhere that the cheapest place to buy water etc is at the station at a kiosk is this right?

Casino in the train station might have milk. Auchan in Val d'europe definitely does.
the restaurants serve semi-skimmed/demi-ecreme for children - I have no idea why. Maybe they have different advice there.

I would imgagine the garage at the Santa Fe does. Just to let you know that most places sell long life UHT milk as opposed to fresh milk in case your son doesn't like this. I think it is fresh milk from the garage.

I have never bought any, we just got my niece milk at breakfast in the morning even though it was semi skimmed and she was 20 months at the time.

They have mini bars in some of the rooms but apparently they don't really like them being used for this.

Maybe now would be a good time to start weaning him off it!
Where is Auclan (hypermarket) and how do I get to it if we want to go there?

auchan is easy to find. it's in the val d'europe shopping centre.
if you go by RER on the train it's one stop away. as you come out of the station you just turn right and cross the road at the zebra crossing. it looks like a shopping mall but the supermarket is in there! the food is on the lower level and they have a little playground too.
it's very quick in the car and you don't even have to go on the motorway.
they definitely have fresh milk - i think even organic!
they are closed on sundays though.
ds still loves his milk but didn't ask for it in DLP - he's making up for it now though!

My DS(8) loves his milk too, but won't touch UHT (even in a milkshake) so what we're going to do is take a mini-fridge and put one frozen and one fresh milk in it. that should keep it for the journey and once there we can plug the fridge back in :thumbsup2 My DSis said the minibars are not easy to get your own stuff in, and this was her suggestion.

The other thing we found last time was that you can buy drinks cheaper in the hotel gift shop than in the bar or from room service (great if you want a little something to go with a snack ;) )

We are travelling by eurostar to DLPon this trip so would have to take the RER to Auclan, is it the same stop as val d'europe and if so can I go wrong or is it easy to obtain train ticket etc. as my french is very minimal!

I described in my earlier post how to find auchan from the RER station - it is the val d'europe one. buying a ticket is not too tough but make sure you get a return and not just a single. if the queue is long you can use the machine which has english but it only takes coins.

yep it is defiently only long life milk, when i went in feb, i went to evry hotel, shop, cafe, restuarant on the complex, but could get no fresh milk, also the garage by the santa fe and that too was long life, my son too likes a bottle of milk in the evening, but luckily if it was ice cold he drank the long life, when we go at christmas i plan to take some with me and just explain to the concereige what it is for and hopefully store it in the mini fridge
