Can I get a refund if Air Tran changed our flight time and..

Can I get a refund if our flight time has changed and now the seat prices are less money than when we booked? It saves me about $20. My neighours would save $40. How does this work? Do we cancel our tickets (one-way) and rebook, or will they just offer us a credit?

Airtran changed my mid-afternoon flight time so I arrived about an hour or so later at MCO than what I orginally booked. This would have forced us to miss the conference dinner I was going to, so I called and told Airtran the flight change they were making wouldn't work for me. They offered to put me on a dawn flight instead (no thanks...airport is 2 hours away and in an earlier time zone...) which I declined. Airtran then offered to refund my flight to Orlando so I could try another airline. I took them up on that. Actually, I was very pleasantly surprised they did this.

If you did that...then I think you could just turn around and re-book the flight at the lower rate. Remember to link to Airtran thru Kayak and you can pick your seats for free too.
