Can I get a Key to the World Card in advance?

Someone in my upcoming trip does not have a magicband and says that using the KTTW card will be fine (honestly, if my magicband is lost or stops working, I am also going to switch back to using the card). Anyway - we are staying at CBR and on our arrival day we want to bypass the front desk and go straight to our rooms and then the parks. Is it possible to get the card in advance so that we can have everything set up and ready to go - just like we do with the magicbands?

If this person's ticket is in your collection, you can add it to your digital wallet and use that and get a plastic card at the park entrance.

I do have their ticket in my MDE account and I can access their reservation/ticket via the MDE app (is this what you mean by digital wallet?)

Are you asking if you can get the KTTW card prior to your arrival? No, that is not possible.

As long as you have a digital copy of her ticket, you can just go to the tap point to enter the park and then when you tap her electronic ticket (phone, MDE app) you can request a KTTW ticket right then. CM's carry them at the park tap points. No need to go to Guest Services unless there is something unique about their ticket (ie. FL resident, CDN resident, etc)

This is very helpful! So I have the MDE app and the ticket on my phone. My guest can enter using my app and then get their card ...right at the turnstile? That would be awesome!

It's been a while, but at the first of 2020 I purchased a ticket for someone else in my family and had the plastic card sent in the mail. Do they not do that anymore?

They no longer send the RF enabled park cards to you by mail.
