Can I get a Disney Visa over phone;not online?

Hi all ~

I am wanting to open a Disney Visa but am not wanting to do it online. (anyone see "Sixty Minutes" last night?) I would like to do it over the phone but keep getting told that I cannot. I have one number of 1-800-300-8575 but was told twice by the Chase people that I can only apply online.

Can anyone help?

Yes, I got mine a month or so ago over the phone. 800-943-8319. I have an AP, and used code CDYF and got a $100 gift card after first use. Using it in August!!

I actually referred someone, they got the $100 gift card plus I got the 25 bonus disney dollars. You can't beat that. The $100 giftcard didnt' require an AP, but I only saw the link on the AP section of WDW's site. I did give the phone number a few weeks ago here and I guess the other poster received the offer. Anyone receive the 5times bonus dollars recently, I haven't but my daughter did. Just wondering.

No, and no rhyme or reason as to who gets it or doesn't. They also, during the same timeframes have different categories and threshold amts for differernt holders. Just the luck of the draw. I didn't get it for Apr, May and June and my daughter did. I received an offer each of the 4 quarters last year but none (I don't know if there were any) for Jan-Mar and none for Apr-June. I did earn quite a few extra dollars last year since I did use the card for all the groceries and some dining last year. A good offer as long as you pay it off in full each month otherwise you end up paying more in interest costs than the dollars are worth!!

I ordered my Disney Rewards VISA over the phone, but it was over 1 yr. ago.

I have gotten the 5X twice...but they keep raising the amount I need to spend, in each catagory, so I declined it last time. I told them to contact me when they had a more reasonable offer. I have also stopped using my Mickey Visa so much, because we get better points on another one of our cards. If they make me a better 5X offer, then I will move my Rewards card to the front of my wallet once again.
