OK, going Nov 15-22 and on the Dining Plan. I haven't made my ADRs yet so I need to get them together ASAP! So far I have 5 sit-downs but need two more. So I'm turning to the best place I know, this board! :flower:

Currently I want:
L'Originale Alfredo di Roma
Le Cellier
Boma
O'hana
Chef Mickey

I already have 3 buffets so I'd prefer the last 2 choices not to be buffets, but if it's an absolute do not miss, maybe I could make an exception. I plan on doing Si-Fi for lunch out of own pocket.

Also, do the resturants in the hotels stay open later than the parks?

Since you already have 2 Epcot restaurants and 3 resort restaurants, I guess I'd pick one in the Studios and one in MK. For the Studios, I'd go with the Brown Derby and for MK it's sort of a toss up, although I guess I'd tend toward Cinderella's Royal Table. ::MinnieMo

i'd go with bd for mgm also( it's 2 ts but truthfully the only "really good" food we've had at mgm and for mk area i'd go with whispering canyon ( not the skillet,.plated meals)...only about 10 min from mk via boat

I would go with Liberty Tree Tavern in MK. If you wanted to have a table service meal in MGM i would go with 50's Prime Time. If you would rather eat at a resort Whispering Canyon is pretty good.

We haven't eaten there yet, but I think I'd try Spoodles. We have a PS there in a couple of weeks, and the reviews I've been reading are all positive.

I've looked at the Spoodles menu and I didn't look like anything our family would enjoy. But thanks for the suggestion. I've also heard wonderful things about it.

For studios, if you want a more fancy meal, then definitely Brown Derby... if not, then 50's Prime Time Cafe.

I am not a huge fan of any of the MK sit down restaurants, so I would opt for another resort restaurant. If you are in the vacinity of Epcot or MGM, then I would choose the Yachtsman, and if you are in the vacinity of MK, then Narcoosee's.

Most of the suggestions are ones that sound very good but require 2 TS on the dining plan. Are they worth the 2 TS?

I think so. I'd recommend;

The Flying Fish (BW)
The Brown Derby
House of Blues (DD)
California Grill

I second the suggestions of Whispering Canyon Cafe and Liberty Tree Tavern. I would also suggest Crystal Palace (I prefer their breakfast) and SciFi Cafe (lunch, they have great sandwiches).

I would do 50's Primetime Cafe in MGM and CRT(dinner)at MK!

I second Aspiring Cindy's suggestions, we enjoyed both of these on our last trip, or if you were looking at another resort restaurant 1900 Park Fayre is great to ::MinnieMo

My DH and I enjoy AP at WL. But I am not sure if that is a 1 or 2 credit TS for the dining plan.

Love your choices, it comes close to ours except we are doing CP instead of chefs and we a skipping Alfredos.

How about one of these

50's Primetime
Marrakesh - we really love this place
Teppanyacki - trying this for the first time
Cape May

Greetings from northeast ohio(Akron) here. We went to Tony's Town Square. Despite be a little high, the food is good in my opinion. Its a nice sit down place.

Spoodles is an excellent choice (much better than EPCOT ITALY). But if nothing interests you, then it would not be right for you.

Try Flying Fish
Shula's Steakhouse
Blue Zoo

(The better restaurants are outside the parks, MHO).

What about Wolfgang Puck's? Do you have to pay a surcharge on most of the items? Also, anyone try Cap'n Jack's?
