Can I eat this piece of sweet potato pie?

My mom made it on Wed, and I brought it home and have had it in the fridge since Thursday. It looks so delicious, but I'm afraid. Can I eat it?

There's probably nothing wrong with it that would make you sick, but I'm guessing week-old pie isn't going to taste that good or have the right texture anymore.

I think you should smell it first. It should probably be okay, but give it a little whiff, just to make sure!

I eat left-overs that have been in the fridge for a week. DH is always leary of them and won't...but I've had no problems.

If she made it on Wednesday it will be 6 days old sometime today. I would eat it and enjoy it!
