My wife and 3 kids and I are going to WDW next month. We are staying at Sheraton Vistana. Oldest Son is playing basketball at ESPN complex. We'll have a rental car. Thought is to have wife and other 2 kids go to park while oldest plays basketball. We'd meet them later at the park. How can I get my wife and 2 other kids close to theme parks? Do I just drive into theme park as if we were going en mass, pay parking fee and leave them at front gate (or monorail stop)? I presume parking pass is good for all day at any Disney attraction?

I don't think they will let you - if they let you then they would have to let everyone else & that would cause a big traffic problem (with strollers & getting stuff out) - I think Taxis have a spot to drop off & buses do but everyone else no

I have done this before. I told the parking attendant that I was dropping off and he let me through. I drove as far as I could to drop off then picked up near the buses. How close you can get will depend on the park.

Have you been to WDW before? Are you aware of how the park entrances are set up??? FOr the most part, it's pretty difficult to get dropped at the 'front gates' of any park. For MK, you have to drop off at the TTC and then guests take either the ferry or monorail to MK. At DHS, the front area is for bus service only, so there will be a bit of a walk to the front gate area for those in cars. Same for the other parks.
But, you will be directed to an area for drop off if you ask the person in the park entrance thingie...where you pay your parking fee. Save that receipt...that way you won't have to pay again that day.

There are drop off areas for all of the parks that are "fairly" close to the front.

MK would be the furthest off - with a drop off point next to where the old Kennel was. If you go through the toll gate just tell the attendant you are dropping off or picking up and you do not have to pay - they will tell you exactly where to go.

Epcot you follow the green line and its all the way up to the front where the handicapped parking in. It's a short walk across the way and you are there.

DHS is right along where the offsite buses drop off and actually right near where the buses drop off so you are pretty close there.

I cannot remember where AKs is but it should be similar.

The toll booth attendant will tell you at each of the parks.

At MK, I've dropped people off at the entrance to Contemporary and they just walk over past the busses. Never have had an issue with this.

yes it's possible as dh dropped my DDs and I several this past trip. I have to say however that for MK, It's easier for everyone if you drop them off at one of the monorail resorts and let them take the monorail and the same when it's time to go back home.
