I need to make 2 reservations at the 7 month mark as neither are for my home resort. My first booking is Poly and I want to buy 24 one time use points for this reservation. Can I do that if I still have points in the same UY? I really want to save my remaining points for Aulani (and be able to book online without having to call to purchase the points).
Reservations will be made a few months apart.

Yes. I did this for our 2016 trip. I had 50 HHI points but wanted to bank 35 of them for our 2017 trip. I was 2 points short for the reservation I needed so I simply asked to purchase 2 points instead of using the remaining HHI points. You should have no problems.
