Can I do This ?

On the day that we are to leave we were thinking that maybe we could park the camper. And spend the rest of day in a park. Is there somewhere at the fort were they will allow us to park and leave it for a few hours ?

I think you could park in overflow parking. Just pick it up by evening and you should be good.

Last I knew, your parking pass issued at check in can be used to park in the overflow lot on the day of check out, so that you can enjoy the parks before you leave. Just make sure your parking pass is displayed on your dashboard !

Yep, absolutely allowed to park in overflow lot on your checkout day. You can also park in the theme park lots. (Saves you a trip back to the Fort, you can head on out.) No charge as a Disney Resort Guest. They do have areas for parking RVs.

My suggestion would be to make EPCOT your park of choice on the day that you leave. They have RV parking right up front and it is the best place to park your RV because most of the time, it is in the shade. It is so easy to get in and out of and it makes life so much easier because you don't have to take the transportation back to the Fort and fight people to get in and out of the overflow lot.
