If I have already paid my deposit directly with Disney can I now have Dreams Unlimited or Small World Vacations take over the reservation? If so what does that involve?

Contact your agency of choice with your reservation # AND a request they take over the reservation.

They can help you from there.

Yes you can! I've done it before for clients.

All you need to do is contact your agency of choice, and they should have a form for you to fill out, sign & then fax it into Disney. In a few days the ownership should be swapped over!
