Hi all! I have not been to Universal in about 12 years and then it was just DH and I. We will be at Disney World for 9 nights over Thanksgiving then switching to RPR for 2 nights so we will have FOTL. There are 7 of us - 4 adults and 3 boys, ages 8,7 and 1. Obviously the 1yo won't be able to ride much of anything and my 7 yo is short for his age so somewhat limited on what he can ride. We will probably be arriving at RPR about noon so hoping to arrive at Universal by about 1. (Sound reasonable?) Figuring we can take turns with the little one(s) at the kids play areas is it possible to get all this done b4 they close (last year it was 6pm)? Our remaining day-and-a-half will be spent at IOA/WWoHP.

Simpson's x2
Mummy x 2
MIB x 2
Jaws x 2
E.T. x 2
Shrek 4D
Jimmy Neutron
Woody Woodpecker
Disaster and/or Twister (is one of these better than the other?)

I say x2 on most of these so whoever stays w/ the baby can get a chance to ride - so some will get 2 rides. These are in no particular order.

Also I am assuming that unless they add an express line to HRRR b4 then, we have little if any chance of riding it, right?

Sorry this is so long.

Thanks, Jeannine

I'm guessing it will be slow when you go due to park closing time. I think you may be cutting it close due to the 2x. Disaster, Shrek and JN take time to get through their queues even with express. When are you going?

RRR was impossible when we were there but the family managed to ride it a few times over a weeks stay. Early AM was best though. You could get there before open the next morning before heading to IOA and ride it. Or even finish up what you missed the day before.

Depends on what day you go. The close to Thanksgiving the worse the waits will be. IOA is not really a full-day park unless you get stuck in lines. We can do most of it in 1 day or less.

This will be on Dec. 2nd. We only have 1 park per day tickets so no going back over there - this afternoon/evening will be all we have.

So if you don't think I'll be able to fit all this in in that time frame - how much do you think is reasonable? I'd say Simpson's,Mummy, MIB, E.T.,and Shrek 4D are top priorities. What would you skip?

Those should be doable by then especially with an Express Pass. The crowds should be gone by then.

Don't waste your time with Twister. Jimmy Neutron is towards the front of the park, so only do that one if you have time at the end. Maybe only do Simpsons once. It takes 15 minutes in the line even with Express. So that's 40 minutes to ride twice. ET would be probably 25 minutes getting on and off twice. MIB 15 minutes. Mummy 15 minutes. Jaws 20-25. Allow a half hour for Shrek.

I read that they offer a baby swap like Disney. Your party can all ride but switch who's holding the baby. Usually they let the other kids ride both times. Then you don't have to wait in line twice.
