Can I combine ticket offer and hotel discount?

Right now we have a trip booked July 6-11 with free dining. We would really prefer August 15ish for a week. I am debating taking the hotel discount instead and just not doing waterpark or park hoppers. Can we also add the 4 day magic ticket offer with our hotel? It says you can get a 4 day base ticket for pretty good deal too.

Yes--you will book hotel as a room only reservation and book the 4-day magic ticket separately. Both will be linked to your My Disney Experience account, which will allow you to book FPs at the 60 day mark. This is what we have for our upcoming trip.

The only catch is if you want to keep the dining plan it becomes a little more complicated. You can theoretically get a dining plan with a room-only reservation, but you have to call to do it, and it won't be free dining (which requires purchase of a package with 4-day park hoppers).

You actually might be saving more going with the room discount and ticket deal than with free dining.

If you get a room only deal, you can also compare ticket prices with third party sellers to see who has the best deal as well.

Yeah I think after buying food OOP we would break even. I really like having park hoppers and wanted 5 park days instead of 4 but we could make it work

You can purchase MORE days on the ticket and get the "Free" Dining, if you like.

I can’t imagine going in August and not wanting a water park day in between....they’re half the price of a park and approximately a million degrees cooler . You can buy a standalone ticket and use it in between the days of your park ticket. Apologies if you already know all that and just don’t want to go. (But the mini donuts!!! Just sayin....)
