Can I check in my hotel at ME desk @ airport?

I am going on my first solo trip in December staying at POR Riverside. I just finished watching the WDW planning DVD and it said that you could check into your hotel at the airport and go right to the parks. I'm getting a package of room/tickets. If I can check in at the airport, could I get my park ticket then. Do the ME buses stop at the parks or do you have to transfer. If you do have to transfer, can I take the ME bus to the Grand Floridian and take the monorail to the magic Kingdom.

The ME busses don't go to the parks, as far as I know you will have to go to your resort to check in and get your park passes.

No, you CAN'T check in to your Disney resort at the airport.

That's the next logical extension of DME. Is this a new planning video? Maybe this change is coming soon.

We just got this video about a month ago. I checked it again and it does say that you can check into your hotel at the airport. I wonder when that will start?

I know of no such change... I know we're planning a LOT of changes, but I don't think a change like that would be physically possible (meaning systems wise) until 2008. It would seem odd that they would say that on the video right now?

I'll have to see if I can get my hands onto a DVD to see about that. If it is saying that, they might need to re-do the video.

Regardless, you can only check in for Disney's Magical Express at the airport. You can also purchase tickets at the airport's Disney stores... but that's about it.
