Can I change vacation package?

Hi, I have a vacation package booked for May 2012 and my daughter wants me to change it to Dec, 2012. Can I just change my dates ? Or do I need to cancel and rebook? I have the vacation insurance so if I have to cancel I will loose most of my deposit, because the insurance is not refundable. If I can just change my dates that would be great.

You can just change the dates. If you're booked under a promotion for May, you will lose it if you change to December because there are no promotions out for December yet, that I know of. You can always switch to a promo when it comes out though, assuming there is availability.

Just call them and change the dates on the package. As noted, you'll lose any May promotions you booked; it's kind of early for December promotions but you can add them later if they come out.

If you booked online, remember you can't change the reservation online, you'll need to call.
