I have a 10 day hopper pass to DisneyWorld that was never activated/used due to a death in the family. I kept it thinking I would probably go back sometime, and they never expire if not used the first time. Does anyone know if I can ' cash it' for 3 one day passes at DisneyLand in LA ? And pay any extra money I may owe? TIA.

I'm 99% certain you can apply the amount you paid for the ticket to a new ticket/pass.

Out of curiosity, where did you get a 10-day hopper? Australia?

I'm in Canada and I purchased it in 2008. It was a 10 d 'Magic Your Way' and included water parks. My husband was accidentally killed 6 weeks before the trip. I figured we would go back again sometime ...... And here it is 8 years later and I'm headed to LA instead of Orlando. I see these are no longer available. I'm going to call and check with Disney directly - just to be sure. Thanks!

The short answer is NO. She claimed they are separate companies. :). And I should call Orlando and get a refund. Which as they are all non refundable/ non transferable I figure I know how that conversation will go. I guess that means I'll just have to go back to Orlando sometime. :)

Thanks.

While it may be "non-refundable" there are exceptions. We've had Disney go out of their way in situations like this. Call and explain, you probably will get a refund.

Agree with this. We've spoken with DL in the past about unforeseen circumstances cancelling trips, and they've been very helpful in refunding our tickets. It can't hurt to try.
