Can I cancel a waitlist online?

Does anyone know if I can cancel a waitlist online? I made a last minute ressie for week before Christmas and only got 2 of my 4 nights confirmed. The other 2 were waitlisted at VWL where I am confirmed, or all 4 nights at OKW. I went ahead and made a cash ressie at the Dolphin at a great discount and now I am happy to be at EPCOT area for a couple of days and finish it off with our favorite Christmas resort - VWL. I don't seem to find the time to call member services during the day, so I was wondering if I could cancel online. Thanks!

I know that you can put in a reservation request and add the dining plan via the member website.

I would assume you could send them something asking that the wait list be removed. The only thing is that it takes about 3 days or so for them to respond to your emails so it isn't something that would be immediate.

I don't see how it could hurt you to do it that way but I would still follow it up with a phone call.

You should be OK given you're timing. However, be aware that MS has stated that the clock does not stop or start with an email off hours for cancelations or similar. It's very possible they won't deal with such an email until Mon or Tues and they won't give you credit for it if there is action in the interim such as borrowing points to confirm a WL.
