Can I call CBR and request...

We will be staying at the CBR for my son's 4 birthday, I was wondering if I can call them and request something special for his birthday??

You can, but even if the CM you speak with agrees, there’s no guarantee anything will actually be done. Remember, on any given day, on average dozens of Guests are celebrating birthdays and potentially hundreds are celebrating something. Your best option will be to do ‘something’ yourself.

Better to make arrangements with Disney Florist if you absolutely want something special (they have some cute things, good for kids, not just flowers) - then they will deliver when requested. You do not have to already be at WDW to make arrangements.

Otherwise, it is now best to mention it at check-in and ask if they can perhaps send a card to the room from his favorite character. Disney used to do more, but have cut back a bit and it is not as reliable as years ago. Of course, it is huge now - back then it was 5 resorts!

Historically, CBR does not have the most helpful CM's - in our experience, they are the least helpful of any resort. Still, some do shine through!

Years ago, my Godson was celebrating a birthday while at CBR - I barely mentioned it at check-in and the next day when we returned from the park, there was a nice little cake, baloons, a card from Mickey and beach pale with shovel and a T shirt rolled up inside! It was a CBR T-shirt and an adult medium - he was 17 and he took it home to a younger female cousin
