Can I buy disney gift card in theme park?

Our family of 5 will go to disney world in August. Since chase freedom has lowes 5% promotion for gift cards , I am wondering if I should buy $1000 disney gift card right now at lowes for paying resort fee later.
An other option I think about is : wait until August , buy the gift card in theme park gift shop, then use the gift card pay for resort fee. ( chase also offer 5% for theme park July to Sep).

You can buy Disney gift cards everywhere at WDW parks and resort gift shops.

Thanks very much! So I can wait until we get there, no risk at all!
I called chase yesterday and was told purchase in disney resort would not count in 5% catalogs, but restauant in theme park would count.

Well I'm not sure if you can buy gift cards IN the restaurants, but possibly. That's just one place I've never looked for one. I don't know the rules on what/where is eligible for the 5%.
