can i bring food and/or water into parks?

I am trying to find out what the latest rules are at Disney. Can I bring water bottles into park? What about food? Do they search ALL bags? and if there is food/water do they make you throw it out?

How about lockers. How much do they cost? Where are they located?

I have brought small snacks into the parks before. No problem. Yes, they do look through all your bags, but they don't say anything about food. ("Looks yummy!" ) As far as I know, you may also bring water bottles.

Lockers are close to the entrance to the park. I think it's around $5/day. I haven't checked recently. I'm sure someone here will have the information.

I took in a small cooler with snacks, water bottles and soda bottles. They looked in it but didn't say anything. You can also ask for cups of ice at different little booths and use your own water and soda. So no problem with bringing in water bottles! I also saw some one with a big styrofoam cooler. So I guess you can take in coolers with no problem.

Some food/snacks and drinks are allowed in, with the following exceptions.

- No large coolers.
- No glass containers
- No alcohol
- (DAK ONLY) disposable plastic straws are not allowed (for the safety of the animals)
