Can I Book Podcast Cruise 3.0 if I'm Not on Podcast 2.0?

DH and I just booked our very first Disney Cruise through DU and we are VERY excited! I have only cruised once before about 8 years ago on Princess and did not really enjoy myself at all. I'm a little nervous about cruising again, but if I'm going to like any cruise it would have to be Disney. That being said, if I find myself having a great time on our Disney Cruise in May 2011, I'll definitely be booking again onboard. If we do decide to book onboard our May 2011 Cruise, would we be able to get a copy of the documents that will be given to the Podcast 2.0 group in order to book 3.0? Or would I just have to book the podcast cruise 3.0 dates and then transfer the reservation to a DU travel agent when we get off the ship? If we do that, will the discounted pricing that we received onboard the cruise still be valid, or would we get the special podcast cruise 3.0 group discount instead? I'm not even 100% sure we are going to book into podcast cruise 3.0, I have to see how I do in May first... but if we DO end up booking, I'd definitely like to try and join the podcast cruise in 2012. I think the primary concern is that if you're not going on 2.0, you need to book 3.0 before they set sail, due to space limitations.

When you book on board you should specify that you want Dreams to handle the reservation. If you wait until you come back you may not get the same onboard credit with DU.

If I were you, I would book Podcast 3.0 NOW through DU to make sure you get a cabin at current rates. Prices may be higher by the time you go on your Disney cruise in May, but if not - you can rebook the cruise onboard to get the 10% discount and DCL's onboard credit.

Podcast 3.0 is in June 2012. No cruises are available to book in Dec. 2012, including Podcast 4.0.

Booking is already open for 3.0 for everyone. I'm not on 2.0 and I've already paid my deposit and been assigned a stateroom! Woo-hoo!!

As I mentioned above...book the Podcast cruise NOW. When you are on your cruise in May, check prices. If they haven't gone up more than 10%, "reshop" the cruise to get the 10% discount and OBC. If the prices have gone up a lot, you'll be glad you booked the cruise at today's prices.
