Can I book Candlight Procession Dinner Without Cancelling Other ADR?

I'm new at this so this may have been asked but I didn't find it: We want to do candleight processional on 12/10 to see Whoopi G. and I made an ADR at Biergarten for 5:50 as an "insurance policy" in case I don't call in for Processional b4 all reservations for that time are gone?

I have been reading that the "system" or some CMs will automatically cancel both ADRs if they are for same time and same people???

Maybe I need to at least cancel this ADR at Biergarten now and just wait till the ressies open for Processional hopefully next week? We currently have 7 "table service" ADRs so would we have to cancel two of them to book the Processional Dining Package so the system would not think we are "overbooked" ???


I know some of you seasoned veterans will know !

All you have to do is once you finish booking the Candlelight package, tell the CM to cancel the other reservation. I do not know why you would have to cancel it now, or why the system will think you are overbooked if you have 7 ADRs. The system does not care how many ADRs you have, only if they are at the same time and under the same name.

If you are concerned because you are on the dining plan, the restaurant system is not aware of how many DDP allotments you have, and it's not relevant anyway because anyone can book any number of restaurant reservations, whether or not one is on the dining plan. You are not limited by your dining plan allotments as to how many reservations you make. The system is only aware that you are on a dining plan if you want to book CRT or a dinner show and avoid prepayment.

If you can't get the Candlelight package, then keep the reservation.
