Can I book an Individual Lightning Lane the morning before I activate my annual pass renewal?

We are arriving in a few days. We have a DVC annual pass renewal that I purchased over the phone and have to activate at Guest Services. Our first park day is at Epcot and my plan was to wake up and book an Individual Lightning Lane for Remy for all of us and then switch from CBR where we are spending our first night to BCV where we are staying for the rest of our trip and activate our passes at the Guest Services at International Gateway. But I just realized at 7:00 am we won’t have an active annual pass yet. Will it still let me purchase? We do have a park pass for Epcot for that day. So I guess my question is is Genie plus linked to your ticket or your park pass for the day? Thanks for your help!

Yes, you will be able to book your first LL before activating your AP that morning. We did this in November with zero issues. I remember that made a point to get to Guest Services to activate our passes very early that morning in case we had any issues.

Just make sure you have your park pass reservation made and you purchase G+ before 7am the morning of your park day so you can book without problems.

Good question. I think if it allowed you to book a park reservation it should allow you to book a ILL or Genie+ reservation.

It's a good question because the way that APs are handled is different from other tickets.

If you have the (non-active) AP tied to your account you can make park reservations, LL reservations and take advantage of AP hotel discounts, all without the AP being active.

Of course ,the AP must be activated before you check into the hotel when you used AP rates, and before you enter the parks.
