Can I book an AP rate for a friend?....

Can I put a ressie on a room with my AP for a friend..We are going for 10 days(leaving next wednesday ). We are staying at WL, paying rack rate because it cost less than the AP...

Well a friend of ours wants to go for 2 days next weekend..can I reserve the CSR(it's available for his dates) with my AP? I would be there when he checks-in but not staying there.
