Can I be so lucky?

Up until yesterday, there were no plans to go back to WDW. We were there a year ago and our next vacation was going to be to California. For a solid year now, I've cried when I see a WDW commercial. We had the most fantastic time it can't really even be put into words.

So, yesterday I was talking to a fellow DISer and DH has been suggesting for a couple of months that we ought to go back to WDW and put off the California trip. I decided.

We are going in September. So then I thought, MAN I'D LOVE TO SEE A SHUTTLE LAUNCH. Turns out there is a tentative one scheduled for 9/7! YEA! So then, just now, I'm thinking, I'd love to see Night of Joy. I bet that happens late September or so. So, I searched. This year it was held at the beginning of what? SEPTEMBER!!!! Does it always happen at that time. Could I really be so blessed that I'd get to see my dream since I was a little girl of watching a shuttle launch AND see Night of Joy during the same trip? A trip that wasn't even going to happen until yesterday?

Don't pinch me! I think I'm enjoying my dream! Now, if I could just figure out how to get my picture taken with Dopey. I missed him all 11 days, last year.

How Great!!!! Believe it or not, I just got back Dec. 16th. The day we were in Epcot, I believe it was Saturday, Dec. 9th, we were able to watch the shuttle launch from the world showcase. It was so cool. We didn't even know it was going to happen but a crowd started to form and everyone was pointing up at the sky so we stopped to watch and we were amazed. Of course, it was kind of far away to see everything clearly, but it was really cool. Dh and I believed it was just some extra pixie dust sprinkled on us. We can't believe we got to see something extra on our trip. You should definetely try to go. Merry Christmas!

Congratulations on your upcoming trip! I hope you get to enjoy all you have been dreaming of. September is a great time to go even if it is still pretty warm, the low crowds make it worth it.

We are also planning a Sept. vacation and cannot wait to go back.
