can I be listed on two rooms at the same time (and have access to both via magic band)?

we are going to split our family into 2 studios. can I (the mom) list my name on both and have access to both rooms with my magic band? The room capacity will allow it (we will have extra space for another person), but I'm asking if there is anything in the system that will prevent me from being listed on 2 rooms at the same time, like I have to check out of one to get access to the other.

As mom, I would like to be able to enter both rooms (I realize they might not be close to each other).

I have done this in the past with the help of the front desk.

I do not recall if both rooms were on my magic band or they had to give me a key for the second room.
Also request rooms be close and they will try their best.

I tried to do this recently online, but the system wouldn't accept my 2nd room request because I was listed twice. I didn't try calling, but maybe they could help you over the phone?

Your MagicBand will only open one room, so you shouldn't list yourself on both. You will need to go to the front desk and get a KTTW for the second room.

Just make sure someone in the other room has 2 MBs and keep one of them. I always take more than one MB (actual band and a magic keeper) so my daughter can get into our room if needed.

You can not be an official guest of two rooms at the same time. It will not work and your MB will only work for one of the rooms. You can be listed on both but once you check in, it has to assign you to one of the rooms.

As already mentioned, you can just use a second MB for a guest in the studio...or ask the front desk to give you a KTTW card to access the second room...we have done that with no issue.

To avoid the front desk, you could add a fictional person and get that person a magic band. Or, you could just use an extra magic band associated with someone in the other room.

You might be able to accomplish this with MDE using someone's login, but I'd just buy another magic band to do this.
