Can I ask for a few prayers and PD for myself and my family?

Things have been going really badly lately. To start off my business has been suffering greatly due to this war. I'm trying to remain calm but it is hard when one's funds are slowly dwindling away.

Secondly my mother is a nurse in a hospital treating Sars patients and I worry about her constantly. Fortunately her unit/building is not where the patients are...but I still am very concerned. On top of that today she fell down on an icy sidewalk (black ice) which wasn't salted (superintendant is mysteriously missing in action) and injured herself. She already has bad arthritis and is on her feet all day at the hospital. She doesn't need this.

We are due to travel to WDW in the near future and the airline we are booked on just filed bankruptcy. Now I know in the scheme of things this is a trivial matter but my poor mom really needs to get away from all of this. It just seems like one thing keeps happening after another. I feel like I am about to go insane.

I don't think any of it is trivial. It sounds like you have a lot to deal with. Prayers, pixie dust and as many {{{HUGS}}} that you need.

I do not think you are alone right now. These are uncertain times, and we have, as many have, lost large amounts of money. There have been layoffs at work. It is all overwhelming. Pd and {{{Hugs}}}. Hang in there and hopefully things will be on the upswing soon!

That SARS thing in Toronto is very scary, and I hope that your mother stays healthy so that you can all go and enjoy your trip. Air Canada is still running, so hopefully you'll be okay that way.
