I've read some threads on upgrading/apply the value of a ticket but they seem to talk about upgrading hoppers to an ap or pap

If i have an AP that is 6 months old can i apply the value to get a premium annual pass?

Would it only cost me what half the difference in price is between these two tickets (because i've already used half / 6 months) and then I'd have a PAP for just six months?

Or would i get a new full year on the PAP and pay the difference between a PAP and half an AP.

thanks, Pete

If I remember correctly from when we did this, you will get a new PAP that is good for a whole year minus the value of the remaining 6 months on your regular AP.

Disney no longer prorates AP's when upgrading to PAP's. You will be charged the entire amount of the price difference between the two passes no matter how much time remains on your AP and your new PAP will still expire when your old AP would have.
