Can I add on an extra day (if the website says there are no rooms)?

I am looking to add an extra day early to my reservation in August. The WDW website says there are no available rooms for POP on the day that I am looking for. Is it possible that if I call Disney there could be an extra available room for the day beforehand? Or maybe since I already have a reservation for the next day then I would be able to just add on a day?

Has anyone been able to get a room when it says there are none available?

Have you tried looking for 2 nights prior? Sometimes hotels will have minimum stays so looking for just one night will say no availability but looking for 2 will yield results. If there are rooms available when you search for two nights you might be able to call to have the night you want added to your reservation.

Another option is Priceline or other third party sites. Sometimes they buy blocks of rooms so they may have rooms available when Disney doesn't.
