Can I add DDP to a room only reservation at BCV?

I booked BCV through expedia .com.

Wondering how to get the best deal for 6 adults. Still need tickets and I could buy an annual pass if that helps.

I don't think so. Dining plan is part of a package deal that almost always includes room, tickets and dining AND it has to be purchased through Disney or a Disney authorized travel agent. Pretty sure Expedia doesn't qualify.

The PP is correct. You cannot add the dining plan to a room booked through expedia, orbitz, etc.

The dining plan is part of a package that includes room and (usually) tickets booked through Disney or a travel agency authorized to book Disney packages.

If you have an annual pass you could book a ticketless package, but it will still be a package and follow all the rules of a package (deposit, balance due date, penalties and fees for any changes made within 45 days of arrival date).

the only way you are even eligible to add a dining plan is if you book a vacation package which would include room and theme park tickets.

I know this won't help you, OP. But for the PPs....

Travel Agent secret: If you book directly with Disney over the phone, and call and ask to book a "Ticketless package with Dining," they will usually do it. I've never yet been told no when doing this for my clients. Not sure if this is a courtesy they offer just to agents or not, though. But either way, give it a try. And you didn't hear it from me. Shhhh.

Correct. There is a ticketless package available, but it can only be booked if you call. It cannot be booked online.

I currently have a ticketless package so i know it can be done. You do need to call as it is not available to book online. Not sure how it works with 3rd party bookings because they basically have to cancel the room only res and rebook as a package. If you had a room only discount on a Disney booked reservation, the savings for the discount will be transferred to the package. Again, not sure how that works with 3rd party bookings as I have only ever booked room only dorect with Disney. All package stuff applies such as being paid in full by 45 days, $200 deposit, etc... You also get all the special perks like Disneyquest admission, minigolf vouchers, discount coupons, etc...
