Can I add a second day to my ticket after I've been to the park?

Hi, it's our first trip to Universal. We're in town after a cruise and have other events we'd like to do too. Question ---is it possible to buy a one day P2P ticket and add on to it (after visiting the park) if we feel we want to go again? It'd be cheaper than buying another one day ticket.
