on Main Street?

I don't really want a haircut. I would like to get her hair colored and pixie dusted.

Is this possible and how much would it cost?

How long does the color stay in?

My DD gets her hair cut each time we go. The cost is $12 for kids and $15 for adults. If you just want the color and pixie dust, I am not sure what they may charge you. They may even do it for free if they are not busy.

We always stop by the barber shop, last spring all four of my nephews and neice had their hair colored and Pixie Dust. No
charge but we did tip for each child...princess:

Washed out same day before we let them in pool....it's very temporary...it's a spray and the Dixie Dust then gets stuck to the color....the little guy 3 wanted out before we left the MK, so we just rubbed his head and it came out.

That sounds so cute, is it something new that they do there? Is it just for kids, or have any of you grownups had it done?

Cheers :)

The colors avl are green, blue, red, orange and yellow it's the same thing stores sell at Halloween in a spray can. Then they sprinkle in the Dixie Dust (mult-colored confetti with small Micky Mouse heads in it) The children loved it and everyone makes commets and they feel very special all day. My Dh also had his hair colored green he is a little thin in the back and asked Mike if he could anything to heLPl...Mike drew a Micky Mouse Head silhouette on the "thin spot" LOL....WE HAD A GREAT TIME.:earsboy:

We are going to MK next week our kids would love to have their hair done. Where exactly is the barber shop and is it by appointment or do you just walk in?

The Barber Shop is to the left when you enter MK next to where the Main Street Vehicles exit and The parades start or end next to Emporium Gift Shop. No appointments just first come first served...so we always go there first after park opens.

When we were there in July, the color was a gel now and they have a several colors and can mix them to make a new color. They even had glow in the dark. One guy had a Mickey head done on his forehead with the GITD gel. My DD had her hair done in pink. The "Pixie Dust" is now more of a conventional confetti, still has the mickey heads in it but a lot more of what appears to be cut up pieces of multi-colored shiny paper. I like the plain mickey confetti better from past years but I guess cost is cheaper with the current style.

You are right it was a gel, I just remembered Mike putting in his hands before applying it.

i was looking for the barbers in september, and i could not find it.

i asked a CM and they said that it was not there anymore - anyone shed some light?

Alright all you disers. Lets stop in and make our hair lime green. It will be easier to see then the ribbon.

I get this done every time we visit - it's great. The Barber shop used to be down Main Street a bit. It was moved when they combined some of the shops, hence why some people (even CMs?) might think it's gone. It's right next to the Firehouse Art/Collectible shop and where the floats go in/out on the left. Look for the Barber pole.

And speaking from experience - wash your hair before going to be. Otherwise, it'd make a big mess in the bed.

You get lots of comments during the day about it - it's a blast.
