Can friends at other resorts "visit" and pool hop to our pool?

We are staying at the Beach Club and Boardwalk (split stay), and we have friends staying at the Dolphin. Are they allowed to come and hang out with us at our pool? Are we allowed to go hang out at their pool?

I don't know the rules for the Dolphin as that is not Disney owned, but your friends will not be allowed to use the pool at the BC or BWI. The pools are only for guests staying at those resorts (as is the policy for all WDW resorts).
