I know I'm a cake hog, but I got what I deserved, I gained back a lot of the weight I lost before the wedding, so I don't recommend 3 cakes.

Thank you!! Of course I don't mind I loved that cake. I wanted a square cake, very simple design.

Initially we planned an at home reception but my mom passed and it didn't seem appropriate anymore. For the at home reception I found a baker who was going to make that cake in 3 tiers with different flavors in each tier but when we weren't going to do that anymore I requested it at my DFTW with just 2 tiers. It was delicious too (marble with raspberry mousse and buttercream covered in fondant) and I can't wait to taste it again on our 1st anniversary!

Mmmmm, cake. The best part about being my best friend's MOH was going to bridal shows with her and testing all the cakes. Yummy. I live for buttercream frosting.
